WILD BLUE YONDER
Just saw some new cover work from Zach Howard and Nelson Daniel over on Mike Raicht's facebook page and wanted to mention how cool that book seems to be shaping up, so if you're on facebook befriend Raicht on there to check out the updates.
You can also follow him on twitter (@MikeRaicht) for updates on that book as well as Stuff of Legend.
And me for that matter (@cpwilsoniii).

Thanks!!!
Will update journal again before too long with convention dates (although there will probably far fewer this year due to busyness and business:)
Dear Journal Readers,

Aaand if anyone's looking for commissions please contact Bob at www.comicarthouse.com. I'm not currently taking any big commissions (full paintings, tonal renderings) but I am doing figures and such including the Pooh-styled characters (b&w, watercolor). There can be a little bit of a wait so it can be anywhere between now and maybe three months away.

Thanks!
NEWS!!!
Sorry I don't post as often as probably should, but I thought I'd give everyone the rundown of what I have going on this year:

March 14th (tomorrow) - The Stuff of Legend Volume III, A Jester's Tale, hits comic shops as well as Mouse Guard, The Black Axe #4 (you'll find a pin-up by me in there!). If you're unfamiliar with Mouse Guard (yeah, right!) the whole series has been consistently good from issue to issue and you should check it out! There are two volumes out and an anthology of short stories, all very, very good.

I'm also working on Splinter's issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Micro Series with Erik Burnham (Ghostbusters!). Paints, inks, washes and tonal pencils - the book's gonna have everything!

And please keep your eyes out for The Cape hardcover! It's one of my favorite comics to come out this past year and I was lucky enough to get a pin-up spot in the hardcover. Great story and art - Zach Howard, Jason Ciaramella and Joe Hill create an awesome experience with the book.

And here are my 2012 conventions and appearances (subject to change) I plan on doing this summer if you're interested!

This coming Saturday and Sunday, April 30-May 1, I'll be at the Boston Comic Con doing sketches, signing books and selling artwork.

Thanks and hope to see you there!
I'll be at the Pittsburgh Comicon (April 15th, 16th and 17th) with Comic Art House doing sketches, signing books, selling trades and prints. I won't have a lot of trades with me and they might go relatively quick. Also, Adam Walmsley (he did up sketches in the back for the bonus material) may also be on hand to sign these suckers, which is actually kind of rare, so if some of you are completionists, live in the area and already have trades with everyone else's signatures (probably not likely) it might be fun to get his chicken scratch on there too!
